The Story Behind the Pour

For founder Sean, wine has always been about more than just tasting notes. A passionate home cook and traveller, Sean’s appreciation for regional viticulture was forged across the vineyards of France, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia.

After a successful corporate career, Sean followed a calling to the vines. He immersed himself in the rhythms of the Southern Highlands wine region, working harvests and studying the craft from the ground up. Today, as a member of Sommeliers Australia with WSET qualifications, Sean has launched his encore career: curating wines, perfecting food pairings, and sharing the stories of the makers with a generous, informed spirit.
