Description:

The cool-climate Artemis Sauvignon Blanc exhibits white peaches , herbaceous passion fruit and grapefruit on the nose. The palate is dry with good acidity and a balanced finish.

It is a lightly oaked Fumé Blanc style with only 15%  wood contact, giving the Sauvignon Blanc more refined characteristics.  with not so much passionfruit, and more lychee and stone fruit coming through.

Drink now or cellar for 8-10 years, having oak contact means this wine can be aged developing a backbone, beautiful rich lychee flavours, minerality and oak tannins.

Pairs well with white meats, especially seafood, and tomatoes, and the Fumé style pairs well with goat's cheeses.
